These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Clan, including our website, apps, and related services.

By using Clan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Clan.

Using Clan

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for the content you post, upload, or share.

You may use Clan only if you can legally enter into these Terms and are old enough to use online services in your location.

Pet safety and real-world meetups

Clan can help people discover nearby pet owners, but you are responsible for your own safety, your pet, and any decisions to meet or interact in person.

Use common sense when arranging walks, playdates, pet care, or other offline interactions. Clan does not verify every user, pet, listing, or meetup.

Acceptable use

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, spam, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with Clan.

Do not post illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, infringing, deceptive, or dangerous content.

Do not use Clan to sell regulated goods or services, coordinate unsafe animal treatment, or violate applicable laws.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit to Clan. You grant Clan a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt that content as needed to operate, improve, and promote Clan.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate these Terms or anyone else's rights.

Clan content and software

Clan, including our design, code, trademarks, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by Clan or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use Clan for its intended purpose.

Third-party services

Clan may link to or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, or practices.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Clan if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used Clan in a way that may harm other users, pets, Clan, or the public.

You may stop using Clan at any time and request account deletion where available.

Disclaimers

Clan is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Clan will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that content from users will be accurate.

Clan does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clan and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, or another reasonable method.

Continuing to use Clan after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
